Mandatory IBAN for Euroclear Bank
Eurex Repo members using Euroclear Bank (EOC) accounts for cash transactions will see changes due to an EOC initiative. The current account names will be replaced by corresponding IBANs, affecting the settlement account and currency combinations used in cash transactions.
Simulation start: 31 March 2025
Production start: 22 September 2025

Changes to Cash Payment Processing for Euroclear Bank Settlement Accounts | The processing of Eurex Repo cash instruction, which are settled on Euroclear Bank (EOC) accounts will be updated according to the EOC initiative, where the current used account names and currency combination must be replaced by corresponding account IBAN. Eurex Clearing aims to activate the respective IBANs for Euroclear Cash transactions on 22 September 2025 in production. Testing in simulation is possible starting from 25 June 2025. | Eurex Repo clients, who have chosen EOC as settlement and cash account location are affected by this change.
