Eurex Clearing
With this Newsflash, Eurex Clearing would like to inform about the changes to the processing of cash payments linked to Euroclear Bank settlement accounts. Currently, the Euroclear Bank settlement account is used for booking of cash only payments resulting from Eurex Repo business transactions. With the end of the transition period in November 2025 as announced by Euroclear Bank, the account numbers currently used for cash transactions must be replaced by the associated IBAN. Eurex Clearing aims to activate the respective IBANs for Euroclear Cash transactions on 22 September 2025 in production and offers the possibility to test this processing of new account information in the simulation environment starting on 31 March 2025.
In close alignment with Euroclear Bank, Eurex Clearing will update its static data of all affected Repo clients corresponding to the new Euroclear Bank cash payment structure. The reports CD710/CD711 - Daily Cash Statement will be amended accordingly. Clients have the possibility to test the amended report by entering appropriate repo transactions in the F7 simulation generating cash offset payments or using the dummy reports CD710 and CD711 provided as downloads under the following path:
