Eurex Clearing
Dear customer,
With this newsflash, Eurex Clearing announces the Crypto Policy update for FpML API, Trade Entry API, and Margin Calculator API.
With the introduction of the Crypto policy rollout, the AMQP brokers will no longer support the encryptions with SHA-1 or smaller than 4096 bit for FpML, Trade Entry API, and Margin Calculator API. Moreover, the minimal key sizes will increase from formerly 2048-bit to 4096-bit.
Therefore, the Clearing Members, who use Java version 8 and the TLS_DHE_* cipher, need to support minimal Diffie-Hellman (DH) exchange keys size of 4096 bits if they intend to continue the use of the TLS_DHE_* cipher.
Other Clearing Members, who use Java version 8, will not be automatically impacted. However, we recommend all Clearing members to keep their Java LTS version and libraries updated to latest versions. The dates for enabling of the changes in the simulation and production environments are shown in the below table:
Interface name | Enabling date in simulation | Enabling date in production |
Margin Calculator API | 21 October 2024 | 30 November 2024 |
Trade Entry API | 21 October 2024 | 30 November 2024 |
FpML API | 21 October 2024 | 30 November 2024 |
