Eurex Clearing Readiness Newsflash | C7 SCS Release 3.7: Launch of Home Market Settlement initiative and activation of enhancement of GC Pooling processing

Dear customer,

With this Newsflash, Eurex Clearing wants to draw your attention to the activation of further initiatives in scope of C7 SCS Release 3.7.

The following initiatives will be activated on 23 September 2024:

Enhancement of GC Pooling processing the improvements in processing:

The improvements of the processing with CmaX will increase overall settlement performance of the system and do not require any changes on members’ side.

Home Market Settlement (HMS) at ESES CSDs for Eurex physical deliveries in equities:

This initiative helps to improve the settlement process for equities held at the ESES markets (Euroclear France (SIC), Euroclear Nederland (NEC), and Euroclear Belgium (CIK)), where members can opt for settlement of physical deliveries resulting from Eurex equity derivatives at the respective home market (I)CSD settlement account.

With introduction of HMS, the “CCP eligible instruments” will also contain information on the alternative (I)CSD. Thus, the existing CCP Eligibility File will be extended with an additional information indicating the relevant Home CSD.
