Setting "on hold" option for DVPs with SIX SIS acting as a settlement institution
Following the publication issued by SIX SIS for its customers, Eurex Clearing advises that clients need to choose the "on hold" option for DVPs where they opt for SIX SIS as their settlement institution (not to be confused with settlement location). SIX SIS will release the transaction externally on the settlement date after the holdings have been verified in the SIX SIS participant’s custody account. The SIX SIS participant’s transaction is generated in SECOM in "released" status.
SIX SIS generates the transactions as before. The SIX SIS participant recognizes this via the SIX SIS order number in field :20C::SEME//…, where the first eight characters will contain the ID DE119021 (e.g. :20C::SEME//DE1190211234567). The reference in field :20C::RELA// now contains the delivery reference of Eurex CCP. The reference in field :20C::TRRF// contains the delivery ID.
3. Enabling Cross Venue Netting
All Clearing Members who wish to activate Cross Venue Netting (XETR + XFRA) function need to set it up at all relevant settlement accounts, i.e. the main account plus its branch account.
These settings can be enabled by providing your Key Account Manager with an updated “C7 SCS Application for Settlement Account Setup/Change/Delete - Simulation (XLSX)”, which can be found under the following link:
Support > C7 SCS Releases > C7 SCS Release 1.0 > System Documentation > Functional Manuals
