Eurex Daily Futures on KOSPI 200 Futures

In addition to the existing KOSPI products a new product “Daily Futures on KOSPI 200 Futures (FBK2)” has been introduced to the Eurex/KRX Link.
 
The below listed products are already available on the Eurex/KRX Link:  

  • Daily Futures on KOSPI 200 Options (OKS2)   
  • Daily Futures on Mini KOSPI 200 Futures (FMK2)  

Simulation start: 15 February 2021
Production start: 22 March 2021

The Daily Futures on KOSPI 200 Futures (FBK2)” are assigned to the same capacity (i.e. Cash KRW)



Trading Participants can assign product and set up transaction size limits for traders using the User maintenance functions of the Eurex Admin GUI.

Trading Participants are recommended to align with their respective Clearer for any risk limit setup, if necessary.

All technical requirements are the same as for the existing Eurex KOSPI Products.

Market Status

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.

Please find further information about incident handling in the Emergency Playbook published on the Eurex webpage under Support --> Emergencies and safeguards. Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively. Concrete information for the respective incident will be published during the incident via newsboard message. 

We strongly recommend not to take any decisions based on the indications in the market status window but to always check the production news board for comprehensive information on an incident.
