Eurex Repo Readiness Newsflash | F7 API/POA: Eurex Repo F7, renewal of broker/server certificates timeline for Simulation, Advanced Simulation and Production - Action required!
With this newsflash, Eurex Repo wants to inform you about the renewal of the broker/server certificates in F7 simulation, advanced simulation and production.
The following change only affects F7 API/POA applications. The usage of the F7 Trader GUI and FIX interface is not affected by this change.
Eurex Repo will refresh the broker/server certificates for F7 API in the upcoming weeks for the last time (see below for details).
This message outlines the timeline ahead of the actual changes. Detailed instructions will be published via implementation news at the dates described below.

Saturday, 26 September 2026 | API broker/server certificates will be refreshed in the morning. A connection test window will be offered between 10:00 am and noon CEST. With the upcoming changes of officially CA signed server certificates, reducing the lifetime of such certificates to 47 days over the next two years (see: TLS Certificate Lifetimes Will Officially Reduce to 47 Days | DigiCert), Eurex Repo no longer recommends verifying the Repo F7 API broker/server certificates against a copy of these certificates previously published on the DBAG Member Section.
Eurex Repo suggests verifying the Repo F7 API broker/server certificates against the root and intermediate certificates of the signing CA – DigiCert as of now
Verification against the signing CA certs is the default way all browsers verify server certificates of web-based services – like the Repo F7 GUI.
Consequently, Eurex Repo will publish the Repo F7 API broker/server certificates one last time.
Customers are advised to switch to the new suggested method of broker/server certificate verification by CA root cert at their own convenience.
