Eurex Repo Readiness Newsflash | ISV Registration & Software Management: Final step of the initiative set to launch soon

With this Newsflash, Eurex Repo announces the planned launch of the final step of ISV Registration & Software Management initiative on 10 December 2025

As announced via the Eurex Repo Readiness Newsflashes from 8 October 2024 and 4 November 2024, Eurex Repo launched new ISV Registration and Software Registration functionalities in the Member Section of Deutsche Börse Group. While ISV Registration functionality enables the Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to register their entity for the respective market, Software Registration functionality introduced a new process for the registration of ISV and self-developed software. With this introduction, ISVs and Eurex Repo participants with self-developed software were asked to register their software which is used to connect to Eurex Repo interfaces.

As the final step of this initiative, Eurex Repo plans to launch the Software Selection feature and related enhancements in the API and FIX account creation process on 10 December 2025. This functionality allows clients to select the ISV software used to connect to API and FIX interfaces in simulation and/or production. The software available for selection in the app is limited to those registered by Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) via the Software Registration app.

Please note: This process is only relevant for clients using API and FIX interfaces and does not apply to clients connecting exclusively via a browser to the the F7 Trader GUI.

All customers with API and FIX accounts for simulation and/or production must select the software they use to connect to the respective interfaces via the new app by 20 February 2026, at the latest.

If the required software does not appear in the selection list, clients should contact their ISVs to ensure it is registered through the Software Registration app.

In case clients use in-house, self-developed software to connect to the API & FIX interfaces, they are required to register this software via the Software Registration app. The registered software will be automatically selected for the owner of the software.

Finally, as two new software-related fields will be added to the API & FIX account ordering process in the Member Section as of 10 December 2025, clients are required to enhance their new and existing accounts with the details of software owner and software name by 20 February 2026 latest

As the new fields will become mandatory for the creation of new accounts as of 2 February 2026, we strongly encourage the clients to complete the software registration and selection by this date to avoid any complications during the creation of new accounts.

Please note that Eurex Repo Rules & Regulations will be updated to reflect the new requirements introduced with this initiative.

More information on the details of the initiative and the Software Selection User Guide are available via the following link: ISV Registration & Software Management.
